HEATING TUNNEL

Functioning

Tunnel designed for the continuous thermal treatment of glass bottles in different sizes containing drink products to prevent thermal shock.

The machine is divided into 2/3 working areas and the heating treatment is obtained by means of steam injectors.
Containers fed by the inlet conveyor enter the machine and then they are submitted to the pre-set treatment.
After the cycle has been completed, the containers reach the aligning outlet belt with variable speed on which a breaking-bridge unit is installed. This device is equipped with an alternated motion mobile bar which, in case of containers accumulation on the conveyor belt, allows to line up the containers in one way and to move them to the other machines in the line.
The tunnel technical features are variable depending on the type of product to be treated and the requested output capacity.

Heat proof-covers
Inlet AISI 304 stainless steel conveyor belt with stainless steel table top chain installed on friction resistant strips, with support rollers on the return section, stainless steel containment guides mounted on supports adjustable for the various sizes of containers, head driven by adjustable speed motor and idle head
Transport of the containers through the tunnel by a polypropylene modular belt, with dragging system and variable speed driving by inverter
Heat exchanger of tube bundle type, complete with by-pass, modulating valve, manual valves, filter, condensate discharging device and safety protection system in stainless steel
Regulator of treatment temperature water, complete with an electric contact which, by means of a lamp, advises the operator that the machine has not reached or is not at the pre-set temperature anymore
Video-graphic recorder with Smart Card for recording the following parameters: water temperature in the first two sections and cooling water temperature
Tanks with centrifugal pumps for hot water protected by stainless steel double filters. These pumps feed the manifolds with sprayers having an high flow-rate in order to obtain the best yield and treatment uniformity

Steam self-locking device in any case of machine stop to avoid the product exposure at high temperature over the pre-set time
Red alarm flash lamp signalling any anomaly and installed on the electric board top side.
